If you're not satisfied within 7 days of purchase and you've completed fewer than 2 full cases, email hello@examinstinct.comand we'll refund you. No forms, no questions.
This policy applies to all paid ExamInstinct plans: Founding Member, Complete Prep, and Patron. The free Case 1 has no purchase involved and therefore no refund mechanism.
You have 7 calendar days from the date of purchase to request a refund. The clock starts at the moment of purchase confirmation (the timestamp in your order confirmation email).
We chose 7 days because it's long enough to play through Case 1 and 2 (about 60 minutes total) and decide if the product is right for you — and short enough to keep things simple.
If you've completed fewer than 2 full cases when you request the refund, we issue it immediately with no questions.
If you've completed 2 or more full cases (~60 minutes of paid content consumed), we review the request on a case-by-case basis. We're reasonable about this — if the product genuinely didn't deliver, we'll refund. We just want to prevent the rare cases where someone completes the whole library and then requests a refund.

We review every refund request within 1 business day. Once approved, refunds are processed through our merchant of record and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
For customers in the European Union: ExamInstinct is digital content. By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive once access to the content begins.
Our 7-day satisfaction-based refund policy described above operates independently of (and is more generous than) any statutory minimum. We honor it regardless of EU residency.
Founding Members receive a free invite code to share with a friend. Complete Prep buyers receive three $50 store-credit codes. These codes themselves are not refundable (they have no separate purchase price). The underlying purchase that generated them remains refundable under the same 7-day terms — but doing so will invalidate any unused codes.
If a recipient has already redeemed your gift code, that access remains valid even if you refund your purchase. We don't retroactively revoke access to people who weren't party to your transaction.
Founding Member tier is capped at 100 numbered spots. If you refund a Founding Member purchase, your assigned Founding number is permanently retired — it does NOT reopen for the next buyer. This preserves the integrity of the “100 numbered spots” identity.
We'd much rather refund you directly than have you initiate a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks cost us fees, hurt our standing with the payment processor, and take 30–90 days to resolve for you anyway.
Before disputing a charge, please email hello@examinstinct.com— we'll resolve your issue within 1 business day in 99% of cases.
We may update this policy. Changes apply only to purchases made after the new effective date — your purchase is always covered by the policy that was active on your purchase date.
