DeltaForma OÜ ("we", "us", "our") operates the ExamInstinct™ web application. ExamInstinct™ is a trademark used by DeltaForma OÜ. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly.
We may collect: email address (if you subscribe or create an account), usage data (pages visited, features used, quiz performance), device and browser information (for analytics and compatibility), and payment information (processed securely by our payment provider – we never store card details).
We use your data to: provide and improve the Service, track your learning progress, send you updates about your account or the product (if subscribed), analyze aggregate usage to improve content quality, and process payments for premium features.
Your game progress is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). If you create an account, some data may be stored on our servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect stored data.
We may use third-party services for product analytics (PostHog, EU region, consent-gated), privacy-friendly site analytics (Plausible Analytics, EU-hosted, cookieless, no personal data collected), email delivery (Resend), and payment processing (third-party merchant of record). These services have their own privacy policies.
ExamInstinct uses minimal cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties. Essential cookies may be used for authentication and session management. Our site analytics (Plausible) is cookieless and does not track you across websites or store personal data; our product analytics (PostHog) only runs after you grant consent.
Your data may be processed by third-party service providers located outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. These providers include our authentication service (Supabase), email delivery service (Resend), a third-party payment processor / merchant of record, and product analytics (PostHog, EU region, consent-gated). Where data is transferred outside the EEA/Switzerland, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or the service provider's participation in recognized data protection frameworks.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, you have the right to: access your personal data, request correction or deletion, object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@examinstinct.com.
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
ExamInstinct is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website.
